My fellow Wordies, people who love the English language, who love to explore and learn something new, this blog is for you!
My name is Anna and for many many years, I have been passionately in love with this wonderful, terrible language that never ceases to amaze, surprise and frustrate me. For the better part of the last decade, I have lived in the United States and worked as a simultaneous interpreter for international organizations.
For far too long, I have held this passion in, pursuing it silently as if the whole world was a library and there was no talking. But the time has come to share my passion. So I invite you all to critique, contribute and otherwise observe the ramblings of this would-be English aficionado.
This is not an English lesson, this is an adventure I want to go on in public with you.
